Ingredients
  1. 14 oz. (398 mL) Sliced green and/or yellow beans, drained.
  2. 12 oz. (341 mL) Kernel corn, drained or lightly cooked frozen corn.
  3. 1 cup (250 mL) Chopped green pepper.
  4. 1 cup (250 mL) Sliced celery.
  5. 1/2 cup (125 mL) Green onions, sliced.
Modify the following to taste
  1. 1/2 cup (125 mL) Granulated sugar.
  2. 1/2 cup (125 mL) Cider vinegar.
  3. 1/4 cup (50 mL) Salad oil.
  4. 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Salt.
  5. 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Pepper.
Instructions
  1. Measure first six vegetable ingredients in bowl.
  2. Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in small bowl.
  3. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Toss to coat.
  5. Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
Notes
  1. Golden Caesar or Italian dressing complements this salad exceptionally well.
